MECHANICAL BRAKE SYSTEM-13

Drum brakes are used as mechanical brakes. The brake shoes located inside the drum are secured to the drum by a tractor spring. The brake shoes are fitted with a cam or toggle lever. When the brake pedal is pressed, the movement reaches the cam through the link rod and the lever. When the cam turns, the shoes are pushed in against the pressure of the retractor spring, which causes the drum to brake.
Above is a picture of the linkages required to operate the mechanical brakes on all four wheels. One drawback is that this method does not allow for equal braking on all four wheels.

മെക്കാനിക്കൽ ബ്രേക്കുകളായി ഡ്രം ബ്രേക്കുകളാണ് ഉപയോഗിക്കുന്നത്. ഡ്രമ്മിനുള്ളിൽ സ്ഥിതിചെയ്യുന്ന ബ്രേക്ക്ഷൂകളെ ഒരു റിട്രാക്ടർ സ്പ്രിങ്ങ് ഉപയോഗിച്ച് ഡ്രമ്മിൽ നിന്നും അകറ്റി നിർത്തിയിരിക്കുന്നു. ഒരു കാമോ, ടോഗിൾ ലിവറോ ഉപയോഗിച്ചാണ് ബ്രേക്ക് ഷൂകളെ അകത്തി ബ്രേക്ക് സാധ്യമാക്കുന്നത്. ബ്രേക്ക് പെഡൽ അമർത്തുമ്പോൾ ഈ ചലനം ലിങ്ക് റോഡ്, ലിവർ എന്നിവ വഴി കാമിൽ എത്തുന്നു. കാം തിരിയുമ്പോൾ റിട്രാക്ടർ സ്പ്രിങ്ങിന്റെ മർദ്ദത്തിനെതിരായി ഷൂകൾ അകത്തപ്പെടുകയും, അവ ഡ്രമ്മിൽ ഉരസി ബ്രേക്ക് സാധ്യമാക്കുകയും ചെയ്യുന്നു.

     നാല് വീലുകളിലും മെക്കാനിക്കൽ ബ്രേക്കുകൾ പ്രവർത്തിപ്പിക്കാനാവശ്യമായ ലിങ്കേജുകളുടെ ചിത്രമാണ് മുകളിൽ നൽകിയിരിക്കുന്നത്. നാല് വീലുകളിലും തുല്യമായ ബ്രേക്ക് പ്രവർത്തനം സാധ്യമാക്കുവാൻ ഇത്തരം രീതിക്ക് കഴിയുന്നില്ല എന്നത് ഒരു പോരായ്മയാണ്.

  AIM : Head light circuit TOOLS & MATERIALS REQUIRED : 1. Wire striper 2. Combination plier 3. Screw driver (+,-) 4. Wire(required) 5. Head light switch 6. Dipper switch 7. Relay - 6 leg 8. Insulation tape 9. Battery 12v 10. Head lamp 12v Diagram PROCEDURE 1. ബാറ്ററിയുടെ +ve ടെർമിനലിൽ നിന്നും fuse വഴി relay യിലേക്കും head light സ്വിച്ചിലേക്കും red wire ഉപയോഗിച്ച് connect ചെയ്യുക. 2. Head light സ്വിച്ചിൽ നിന്നും dipper സ്വിച്ചിന്റെ center point ലേക്ക് red wire ഉപയോഗിച്ച് connect ചെയ്യുക. 3. Relay യുടെ dim, bright connection യഥാക്രമം dipper switch ന്റെ Low, High ബിം പോയിന്റിലേക് connect ചെയ്യുക. 4. അതിനുശേഷം Head light ൽ നിന്നുള്ള loop ചെയ്ത High beam Low beam വയറുകൾ relay യുടെ high, low beam വയറിലേക് ബന്ധിപ്പിക്കുക. 5. Relay യിൽ നിന്നുള്ള -ve ഉം, head light ൽ നിന്നുള്ള -ve ഉം യോചിപ്പിച്ചു battery യുടെ -ve ടെർമിനലിലേക് connect ചെയ്യുക. RESULT HEAD LIGHT CIRCUIT വിജയകരമായി പൂർത്തീകരിച്ചു.
