CONSTRUCTION


The figure shows a simple operation of mechanically operated type clutches. In this the clutch pedal is connected to the release fork through some linkages. And is directly attached to the fork release bearing. An adjustment nut is provided on the bottom of the clutch pedal or on the side of the fork to adjust the clutch free pedal play.The force exerted by the driver on the clutch pedal reaches the release fork through some levers. The release bearing does not rest on the release levers as soon as the driver presses the foot on the pedal. The distance this release bearing travels free is known as free pedal play. Vehicles usually come with 25mm - 35mm free pedal play. The levers are adjusted so that 10 to 12 times the force applied to the driver's pedal is applied to the release fork.

WORKING

The force exerted by the driver on the clutch pedal reaches the clutch fork through the linkages and the release bearing activates and disengages the clutch. When the driver steps off the clutch pedal, the force felt on the release bearing is lost and the clutch is repositioned with the help of the clutch springs.

    മെക്കാനിക്കലായി പ്രവർത്തിപ്പിക്കുന്ന തരം ക്ലച്ചുകളുടെ ലഘുവായ ഒരു പ്രവർത്തനരീതിയാണ് ചിത്രത്തിൽ കാണിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നത്. ഇതിൽ ക്ലച്ച് പെഡൽ ചില ലിങ്കേജുകൾ വഴി റിലീസ് ഫോർക്കുമായി ബന്ധിപ്പിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു. കൂടാതെ ഫോർക് റിലീസ് ബെറിങ് മായി നേരിട്ട് ഘടിപ്പിച്ചിട്ടുണ്ട്. ക്ലച്ച് പെടലിന്റെ താഴെയോ ഫോർക്കിന്റെ ഭാഗത്തോ ക്ലച്ച് ഫ്രീ പെഡൽ പ്ലേ ക്രമീകരിക്കുന്നതിന് വേണ്ടി അഡ്ജസ്റ്റിംഗ് നട്ടും നൽകിയിരിക്കുന്നു. ഡ്രൈവർ ക്ലച്ച് പെഡലിൽ കൊടുക്കുന്ന ബലം ചില ലിവറുകൾ വഴിയാണ് റിലീസ് ഫോർക്കിൽ എത്തുന്നത്. ഡ്രൈവർ പെഡലിൽ കാല് അമർത്തു മ്പോൾ തന്നെ റിലീസ് ബെയറിംഗ് റിലീസ് ലിവറുകളിൽ അമരുന്നില്ല. ഇങ്ങനെ റിലീസ് ബെയറിംഗ് ഫ്രീയായി സഞ്ചരിക്കുന്ന ദൂരത്തെയാണ് ഫ്രീ പെഡൽ പ്ലേ എന്ന പേരിൽ അറിയപ്പെടുന്നത്. സാധാരണയായി വാഹനങ്ങളിൽ 25mm - 35mm ഫ്രീ പെഡൽ പ്ലേ നൽകിയിരിക്കും. ഡ്രൈവർ പെഡലിൽ നൽകുന്ന ബലത്തിന്റെ 10 മുതൽ 12 ഇരട്ടി ബലം റിലീസ് ഫോർക്കിൽ ചെലുത്തുന്ന രീതിയിൽ ആയിരിക്കും ലിവറുകൾ ക്രമീകരിചിരിക്കുന്നത്.

പ്രവർത്തനം

     ഡ്രൈവർ ക്ലച്ച് പെടലിൽ കൊടുക്കുന്ന ബലം ലിങ്കേജുകൾ വഴി ക്ലച്ച് ഫോർക്കിൽ എത്തുകയും റിലീസ് ബെറിങ് പ്രവർത്തിച്ച് ക്ലച്ചിനെ ഡിസ്എൻഗേജ് ആക്കുകയും ചെയ്യുന്നു.
       ഡ്രൈവർ ക്ലച്ച് പെടലിൽ നിന്ന് കാലെടുക്കുന്ന അവസരത്തിൽ, റിലീസ് ബെറിങ്ങിൽ അനുഭവപ്പെടുന്ന ബലം നഷ്ടപ്പെടുകയും, ക്ലച്ച് സ്പ്രിംഗുകളുടെ സഹായത്താൽ ക്ലച്ച് പൂർവ സ്ഥിതിയിൽ എത്തുകയും ചെയ്യുന്നു.

Insulation tape 9. Battery 12v 10. Head lamp 12v Diagram PROCEDURE 1. ബാറ്ററിയുടെ +ve ടെർമിനലിൽ നിന്നും fuse വഴി relay യിലേക്കും head light സ്വിച്ചിലേക്കും red wire ഉപയോഗിച്ച് connect ചെയ്യുക. 2. Head light സ്വിച്ചിൽ നിന്നും dipper സ്വിച്ചിന്റെ center point ലേക്ക് red wire ഉപയോഗിച്ച് connect ചെയ്യുക. 3. Relay യുടെ dim, bright connection യഥാക്രമം dipper switch ന്റെ Low, High ബിം പോയിന്റിലേക് connect ചെയ്യുക. 4. അതിനുശേഷം Head light ൽ നിന്നുള്ള loop ചെയ്ത High beam Low beam വയറുകൾ relay യുടെ high, low beam വയറിലേക് ബന്ധിപ്പിക്കുക. 5. Relay യിൽ നിന്നുള്ള -ve ഉം, head light ൽ നിന്നുള്ള -ve ഉം യോചിപ്പിച്ചു battery യുടെ -ve ടെർമിനലിലേക് connect ചെയ്യുക. RESULT HEAD LIGHT CIRCUIT വിജയകരമായി പൂർത്തീകരിച്ചു.
